The tourism committee will hold meetings to discuss the current obstacles
The tourism committee in Asharqia chamber will hold several meetings with a number of departments related to the sector in the coming period to discuss the most important topics and obstacles that the tourism sector in the region is facing. Raed ibn Abdulghaffar Al-Murbati, The committee’s chief who lead the recent meeting held in Asharqia chamber said that the meeting has set many meeting that will be carried by the committee in the net period. The meeting reviewed the tourism sector interests in the region, which included development plans. The work plan for the last third of the current year included the committee’s participation in the trips organizers meeting which the commission of tourism in the region has organized. The plans also included arranging for to host the tourism commission in Bahrain’s chamber of commerce and industry. As for next year’s plan, it included visiting the president of the Saudi railways organization, and visiting the high commission of the development of the eastern region. Dr. Saead Al-Qaboos was nominated unanimously to be a member in the national committee of tourism in the council of Saudi chambers.
